Session Details

There are many details that go into creating your perfect portraits.

Please read on...

What Can I Expect During My Session?

First of all, if you've taken a look at some of my work, you'll see that everyone is comfortable looking and natural.  My images have a relaxed feel to them.   I want you to have fun.   I want you to be yourselves.   Because that's what I want to capture in your images that you'll look back on, years from now.

Choose clothing that represents you.  Your style.  Your family.

I love colors.   But not so many patterns if you will be in a group of people.

What should I Wear?

Here are some things for you not to wear to your portrait session:

Don't force your daughter to wear bows or headbands, when she'll just remove them.   Nothing will ruin a session faster, than having to constantly run over to fix them.

Don't put complicated outfits on your newborn.  The clothes get bunchy and don't look good. Stick with a diaper cover.   For more information on a newborn session, read the below link: http://jahspromise.wix.com/simplymephotography#!your-newborn-session/c1obx

Don't wear bright colored shoes with dark clothes.  All you will be able to see are your shoes sticking out like a sore thumb.

Don't wear large patterns if we are photographing a large group.

 A Little About Newborn Sessions

It is critical that you have a session with your newborn within the first 2 weeks.  This is a time that they are very relaxed and sleep a lot.  Making it easy for us to pose your little one.

A typical newborn session lasts for 2 hours.  I don't shoot photos this whole time, but we take breaks to feed, burp, and change baby.   Please read the link below on newborn sessions:
